Gerry Maddox, (Island Gerry) is a singer/guitarist and songwriter in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Starting a solo career in early 2001, Gerry has performed for audiences from the shores of Maryland, to the
Florida Keys and Mexico. He's even performed at several events for Jimmy Buffett shows at Jiffy Lube Live
(formerly Nissan Pavilion). Performing music by Bob Marley,  Kenny Chesney, Eric Clapton, John Mayer and
Jimmy Buffett to name a few. His music is often described as "Island Rock" but consist of a variety of styles,
Rock, Reggae, R&B and Country.

Ocean Drive is the musical collaboration of Island Gerry and keyboard player "Hurricane" Ed Lambert  
bringing the two styles of musicians together. Gerry and Ed played together for a number of years in various
bands and have now come together to perform a combination of "Classic Rock" and "Coastal Music". The duo
is now performing at a venue near you, check the schedule page for times and locations.

Just awarded Best Band in Fredericksburg from the Fredericksburg Guide Book's "Freddy Awards" for 2011.
This award is voted on by the good people that live in and around the area.
